WATERFRONT LUX COTTAGE HUSKISSON
"The place was beautiful and clean. Backyard was quiet and relaxing place to sit and enjoy beautiful views of river and huge trees. The neighbourhood was quite and very friendly. The inside of the place was huge and very comfortable for 2 familes. The kitchen was well equipped and backyard had a barbecue for us to enjoy. Juliet was very easy to communicate for. We went with the baby so she arranged a portacot and high chair for us and that was a life saver for us with a crawling baby. The place had a heater, fireplace and heaps of blankets to keep us all warm.. we really enjoyed our stay. The place was so relaxing that we didn't feel like going out at all." Surabhi from Canberra
"The house was exactly as described with everything needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The location is fabulous with great access to the creek and ideal for my boat (4.5m). We were able to put the boat in at the nearby boat ramp and then leave it anchored and tied at the rear of the house throughout our stay. I was able to anchor a couple of metres off the shore and had no problems at all. The hosts were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. "We had a lovely 3 day break (wish it could've been longer!) at Driftaway and really loved the place. It's obvious that a lot of thought has been put into making sure the house is very comfortable and inviting to guests with everything you need and lots of lovely little touches around the place. The kitchen was very well equipped, even with oil, salt and pepper, so we cooked dinner a couple of nights and as the shops and cafes are only a few minutes drive away we had dinner out one night at the Huskisson Hotel, which was lovely. The fire was wonderful on the cool winter nights and during the day it was lovely to sit out on the back deck or down at the river and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Such comfy beds and lounges too! Couldn't help noticing lots of the lovely furniture that had been made for the house too. We'll definitely be going back!" Prue from Sydney
