Driftaway Huskisson Holiday House gets the natural touch with Inartisan soft furnishings
Driftaway Jervis Bay is a holiday rental property located on the edge of the Currumbene Creek that flows out to Huskisson is a beautifully decorated 3 bedroom cottage that is filled with soft furnishings and furniture that is designed to relax your body and mind from everyday life.
Some of the soft furnishing pieces in the cottage that we love the most have recently been bought from Inartisan in St.Peters in Sydney. Inartisan.com is a homewares and furniture brand that has a natural earthy vibe of raw organic timber furniture and woven products like lights and baskets.
Here are some of the pieces we have that enhance the cottage and enhance our coastal location.
Firstly include our natural timber stools in the kitchen which have a raw branch look we also like the lightness of the wood. We like the tropical island vibe these bring to our kitchen. Especially under our Wildwood Designs natural edge camphorlaurel shelves.
Our woven basket in the macrame hanging in our bathroom is one of from Inartisan. They have many different sizes. This is the smallest one. What we love about it is the earth and tribal texture it brings to a white tiled bathroom.
On our mocha leather leathers we have a sustainable reindeer hide from Finland which is also an Inartisan purchase. These hides are saved from animals who have been farmed for their meat. The texture is so lush and smooth. It also brings another lush textural element to our living space that takes the room to the next level of LUXE.
Our round woven rug in the sun room in front of our super comfy down filled Coco Republic lounge is from Inartisan. Again it brings in a hand crafted woven textural element to the house which makes it more beautiful to live in. The rug defines a new relaxing zone and compliments the tones of the room. Which is a soothing colour palete of neutral colours.
