Huskisson is a charming seaside village on the shores of Jervis Bay. It is a popular holiday spot as the pristine beaches dont have heavy waves and it is surrounded by beautiful bush.
2 hours from Canberra and 2.5hours from Sydney it has a thriving village atmosphere with holiday accommodation, cafes, hotels, a theatre, shops and all modern conveniences. Many with ocean views.
Here are some videos we found on youtube with film footage of the area. We filmed the "i love you" in the sand video apart from that we are not associated with anyone in the videos.
This persons youtube video gives you an aerial view of the Currambene Creek which flows down to Driftaway.
This short video shows how pretty Huskisson is.
The Famous Husky Pub did a youtube video of their amazing ocean front venue in Huskisson. The video shows the attractions of Huskisson. Go here if you are staying at Driftaway for pub a meal or just a cup of tea.
We wouldn't recommend staying there overnight if you like peace and quiet and lots of space. Of course Driftaway is your preferred accommodation choice.
This is a very cute video made by some people using Paper Bark Camp (1.5km) from Driftaway on Woollamia Road as a base for a Jervis Bay adventure.
This message was etched in the sand at Shark Net Beach in Huskisson one morning when i went for a walk.
